Each year the ladies of St. Luke’s make quilts, afghans and baby layettes in support of Canadian Lutheran World Relief.
We are busy gathering supplies for the layettes to be bundled up at our April meeting of St Luke’s Women. In order to meet our goal, we are still in need of 90 undershirts or onesies & 90 sleepers or night gowns, maximum size of 18 months. Please place in the box in the narthex under the stairs. Thank you to the congregation for supporting the Fellowship of the Least Coin by putting your nickels in the jar on the narthex table. Our collection tallied $203.00 this year. By collecting the least coin worldwide, everyone is able to participate as they can. Project grants in 2018 supported 34 worthwhile efforts throughout the world including Canada.
